Clonmel BID Proposal 2026-2031

Patrick O’Gorman Chairperson acting on behalf the BID Proponents Group submits this
proposal under Section 129C of the Local Government (Business Improvement Districts) Act
2006 to Tipperary County Council, the relevant Rating Authority, seeking approval to establish
a Business Improvement District within Clonmel’s commercial core.

The BID will be led by Clonmel’s business community in collaboration with Tipperary County
Council, County Tipperary Chamber, An Garda Siochana and local voluntary organisations,
ensuring projects reflect local needs while delivering visible, measurable benefits.
